While it was only possible to assign the entire free space on the target medium only to one partition until now, from version 3.8.3 on, users can adjust the size of each partition individually by themselves.
Version 3.8.3 of HDClone contains - besides many improved details - an important and useful new feature: HDClone 3.8.3 offers to freely adjust the target size of all partitions to be copied. Als doel kan er, behalve naar eerder de genoemde, ook naar een image-bestand worden gekopieerd. Als bron kan de hele harde schijf of alleen een partitie worden gebruikt. Dit programma kan worden gebruikt om data op een harde schijf te kopiëren, bijvoorbeeld als er een nieuwe, grotere harde schijf in de computer wordt geplaatst. IDE speed can be measured with DMA access turned on or off, which also allows one to measure the PIO speed of newer hard disks, which unfortunately is slightly lower than the PIO speed of some older hard disks. It also has the much improved IDE drivers which offer Ultra-DMA access for IDE devices. In case of undetected devices, the program can also output a diagnosis which can be used to further improve the driver architecture.ĭiskCheck is equipped with both IDE and SCSI drivers although SCSI drivers are available only in the premium product range, their correct function can still be tested with this free tool. It also offers a (rather reliable) speed guess for the SAT applications. All Miray tools with hard disk access use the same driver architecture, and this program now enables one to check if the SATs will work on a system.
